2020 Imperial Eyebrow Gongmei White Tea — Square Tin · 300g

Packaged the way it deserves. Master Ye Yaquan’s 2020 Gongmei, harvested at the peak of spring and stored in a traditional square tin that preserves every nuance of the aging process. Gongmei sits in a special place in the white tea family, above Shoumei in refinement, below Silver Needle in delicacy, with a character entirely its own. The name translates to “tribute eyebrow” historically the grade of white tea considered worthy of imperial tribute. Five years of natural aging have taken that character somewhere genuinely beautiful.

In the cup: a warm golden amber liquor with a naturally sweet, honey-like depth, subtle floral notes inherited from the spring harvest and a smooth, full-bodied finish that lingers with quiet elegance. Not aggressive, not delicate — perfectly balanced. The kind of tea that makes you slow down and pay attention.

Brewing:

• 4–5g · 90–95°C · Clay teapot or gaiwan
• First infusion: 20–30 seconds
• Add 4–5 seconds each round · 8–10 infusions
• Filtered or spring water recommended
• Cold brew overnight in filtered water for a clean naturally sweet summer drink.
